About

I'm a quiet observer of how people change — including myself. This blog is where I put down small, honest notes on what I'm learning as I move through life.

The lens I keep returning to is an old one: the yin-yang, and the zen practices that gave it shape. Not as decoration, but as a way of noticing that growth is rarely a straight line. It curls. It carries its opposite. It rests.

What you'll find here

  • Short essays, meant to be read once, without hurry.
  • Practices small enough to try tomorrow.
  • Occasional field notes from failed experiments.

How I write

Slowly. I'd rather publish one essay a month that stays with you than fill a feed. If something here changes how your Tuesday feels, it did its job.

Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.
